Here's the finished battalion incorporating Schilling infantry and SHQ/Kennington command figures. This will be the last of the Schilling infantry for the time being, until I buy some more. They complete one of the regiments that will do their duty as part of Eugéne's IV Corps.

They look good. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of your figurines. Great job
ReplyDeleteNice figures well painted. You can be proud of your free hand bugle, it looks great and it seems you haven't had a too shaky hand ;=D

Those look great - you put so much detail in this scale. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteLovely work! Great detail and I really like, the blues you used here!
ReplyDeleteDamn fine painting!!!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely figures ans very nice basing
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with all of the above, you really are getting better and better at this painting gig mate. That last pic of the soldier advancing, you seem to have captured a rather bemused expression on his face. Well done. The "Ducks Guts" in fact. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding work
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, all!
ReplyDelete@DHC - Burkhard,I just use Tamiya acrylics for my French blue. The other ranks get Field Blue, while the officers get a better quality cloth coloured with Dark Blue!
@Treb - Thanks mate. Learning how to take better pictures also helps! That last soldier's facial expression makes me think that he might be the village idiot who was persuaded to replace someone cleverer in the previous draft!
Very nice battalion there Rosbif with great painting skills on display
