It's forecast to be 30º centigrade today and 39º tomorrow; not the ideal painting weather I think you'll agree! My next entry will probably have to wait til after the weather cools down, which isn't expected to be until Christmas Eve. I'm glad I got this unit done before the madness of Christmas celebrations takes over because, even though we're not going anywhere, I'll be too busy with family celebrations til after Boxing Day, so I don't expect to be back at the painting table til later next week at the earliest!
Nice looking battle toughened Frenchmen. Best, Dean

A great opening gambit Sir; sadly yet to get mine off the blocks!
ReplyDeleteBloody Hell 39 degrees thats like 32 degree hotter than here, gosh. Thats a great opener of the competition mate, good luck.
ReplyDeleteThanks all!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll have to indulge in a couple of medicinal bevvies (of the frothy headed kind) to keep my fluids up tomorrow ;-)
Nice work, Sir. You have undertaken a very ambitious task to paint these troops with their elaborately decorated uniforms. Best wishes, Sir.
ReplyDeleteThat basing is interesting - for what system / game are you basing them?
ReplyDeleteFMB
I've based them for our club rules, Cold Steel, which use a 1:60 figure ratio. I'll be adding a link to a pdf of the latest revised edition soon, so stay tuned!
DeleteVery nice work. Have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWell done, sir
ReplyDeleteAnd Merry Christmas to you
Nice figures! Merry Christmas
