Andrew B. commissioned me to outfit his bald Bashkir figures in a range of fashionable millinery that were a must-have for all the trendy steppe nomads in 1813, as specified in the pictures on the top. The pictures below are my approximation of those illustrations.
Still a little on the chunky side, but overall I'm pleased with the result. I hope Andrew is too!
A little alliteration with the illustration goes like a baluster with a balustrade.
ReplyDeleteI think they look spectacular, particularly the last two where not only have you have to master the relevant textures but also come to terms with the bizarre 'architecture' of the headgear itself!
