La Famille Rosbif Have New Digs!

Chateau de Rosbif
I'll be using one of the turrets as my wargames room!
The Rosbif household is on the move! I've been spending a lot of my weekends over the last month and a bit house-hunting in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. After a lot of angst and heartache, we've finally bought a house after making an offer on one that was due for auction. Luckily the vendors were keen to sell and we came to an agreement before the auction date. While the picture above is a little exaggerated, we feel that it's not too far from the truth. After all, an Englishman's home is his Castle!

I've still been able to keep my hand in with my Neapolitan project in the meantime. This is the 1/1° Reggimento. They've been on the workbench for a while and had the finishing touches applied last weekend.

  2. Best wishes for you new home, but I'm not sure that is an Englishman's home - looks more like a French chateau to me :)

    2. I would have thought that one of the many lessons we can draw from history is that the best possible home for an Englishman is a Frenchman's castle! Once it has been cleared of Frenchmen that is.

  6. Nice looking little abode Ben. some wonderful Neapolitans too!
Interesting that you are using the later Italeri figures. I'm getting some of the earlier ones for mine. They just seem to 'fit' for me, as they do for the Italians (along with some old Esci figs)!

  7. Give you joy of your new home, sir. Packing and unpacking, not a job I relish. Your Neapolitans are splendid!
