The Suppository of all Knowledge!

At last! Some comedy gold on the election hustings! After weeks of anodyne waffling where the politicians of both sides try to outcompete each other saying as little as possible using as many words as possible, our glorious leader of the opposition came out with a clanger that has lit up the social media landscape. #Suppository even led the twitter trending last night!

Tomorrow we'll be back to the lowest common denominator, trying to woo the vital bogan vote in the west of Sydney and SE Queensland by out-doing each other being tougher on asylum seekers than the other and trying to spook the horses over what the other side is going to do if they win power (no evidence required).

Back to wargaming: I did my shift in the club kitchen last Friday, so I didn't get a game, but I've been ploughing ahead with my painting and movement trays. Paul has come up with a homemade epoxy resin, 3 sided edge for for movement trays, which he has promised to anyone who wants them for Borodino. Once I've made a tray using his edging, I'll post a comparison.

I've made my own 3 sided version using the polystyrene foam method, modeled below by my latest battalion, which I'll display properly in a later post.

Below is one of the improved 4 sided versions which has a lower edge compared to my original efforts

  4. The trays look very nice. It is a surprisingly difficult process to get a good looking finished product. Kudos on succeeding.

  9. Great work, Rosbif! I haven't made a movement tray since my GW days and they didn't look nearly this nice.

  10. The Mad Monk no doubt squeezing out a few nuggets of wisdom! LMFAO 'bout time we had some humour in the campaign - come to think of it, he could invent a new three word slogan like a Coalition government would 'guarantee more laughs'!

I like the result on your basing and movement trays - they'll look great on the table.
