I say there Rosbif they look great and a lovely paintjob on them too. I like the conversion and I am sure I can hear them shouting vive la france
ReplyDeleteCool figures, and nice painting!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutly wonderful...I do like your muddy trousers!
ReplyDeletePhil.
Very well painted with that dirty look and different colors of trousers which is more realistic in my opinion. Well done!

Hmmm - you are a bad, bad man. I have been toying with the idea of creating a brigade of Schilling French - possibly Garde Nationale or similar, but was very pleased that I had talked myself out of it - I have enough Napoleonic soldiers, I don't need them, I would just be adding them because of their very obvious appeal, etc.
ReplyDeleteThese chaps are just brilliant - congrats - but this hasn't helped my decision at all!
By the way, have you seen the latest figures and spare heads at Franznap? http://www.franznap.com/
Regards - Tony
I'm sorry to weaken your resistance, Tony (you know you want them, though...)!
DeleteYes, I've seen Francesco's spare heads. I reckon I'll have to get some those too.
They look ready to fight!

Very very nice work Rosbif!
ReplyDeleteVery good looking unit; You've done great at giving them the campaign look.
ReplyDeleteThanks, all! I've got one more Schilling battalion to come, so stat tuned.
ReplyDeleteGreat painted figures. I like them very much!

Bruno
